→千歳市のご紹介

千歳光トライアル 北海道千歳市とNTTは、「光の街：千歳」にふさわしい 最先端の光通信技術を駆使した光トライアルを開始しました。 光トライアルでは、 千歳市役所を中心に市内５か所の施設を光ファイバで結び、 NTT研究所が開発したAWG-STARネットワークを構築して、 様々な情報サービスを提供する試験的な運用を行なっています。 将来は、この光トライアルを 市民サービス・教育・行政・産業・福祉・医療など 様々な分野に役立てていきたいと考えています。 AWG-STAR network, which was developed by NTT Laboratories, has been newly installed between Chitose city hall and five other places. Various information services such as video and voice are being transmitted experimentally over the network. In the future, this network is expected to be used for public services, education, administration, industry, welfare, and medical care.
